Members of the Rathkeale and District Community Men’s Shed hit the road once again — this time heading west for a visit to the Kilrush Men’s Shed in beautiful County Clare. Special thanks to West Limerick Resources for arranging the bus!
We were welcomed with open arms by the Kilrush lads, who gave us a tour of their Shed, shared their projects, and treated us to great company and even better hospitality.
Highlights included:
- A look around their workshop and garden space
- Sharing ideas and experiences about how our Sheds are run
- Tea, biscuits, and plenty of conversation
- A stroll around Kilrush with some local stories shared along the way
It was a fantastic day out, and it reminded us once again how strong and supportive the Men’s Shed community is across the country.
A sincere thanks to the Kilrush Men’s Shed for hosting us — we look forward to returning the favour sometime soon.
