We were delighted to take part in Stage 4 of the Limerick Wellbeing Series this week, right here in our hometown of Rathkeale.
Hosted in the heart of the community, the event was part of a wider campaign to promote mental health, wellbeing, and connection across Limerick. It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout — with people from all walks of life showing up to walk, talk, and support each other.
The Rathkeale and District Community Men’s Shed were proud to have a stand at the event, chat with like-minded people, and spread the word about what the Shed offers to local men in the area.
Special thanks to Ian Hackett of the Limerick Mental Health Association for the invitation and for his work in supporting mental health initiatives across the region. It was a pleasure to represent the Shed and connect with so many others who care deeply about wellbeing and community.
Days like this remind us why Men’s Sheds matter — creating space for conversation, friendship, and purpose.
