At Rathkeale Men’s Shed, we believe in the power of community, connection, and shared purpose. Our Shed is a place where men of all backgrounds can come together to socialize, learn new skills, work on projects, and support one another in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Who We Are
We are a not-for-profit community group dedicated to promoting well-being, friendship, and lifelong learning. Our members come from all walks of life, bringing with them a wealth of experience, skills, and stories to share.
Whether you’re a skilled craftsman, a complete beginner, or just looking for some good company, there’s a place for you at our Shed.
What We Do
Our Shed is a place of activity, creativity, and connection. We take part in a wide range of hands-on projects, from woodworking and DIY to gardening, community initiatives, and social outings. More than just a workspace, our Shed is a safe and relaxed space where men can chat, share experiences, and enjoy a sense of belonging.
We also organize trips, workshops, and guest talks, giving our members opportunities to learn new skills and connect with other Men’s Sheds across Ireland.

Get Involved
If you’re a man aged 18 or over, we’d love for you to come along and see what we’re all about! We meet every Thursday at 10:30 am, and there’s always a cuppa, a chat, and plenty of craic waiting for you.
Whether you want to work on a project, learn something new, or just enjoy some good company, the Shed is open to you.
Location: Rathkeale Soccer Club, Holycross.
