A Cup of Tea Powered by Progress

We’ve hit a very special milestone at the Rathkeale Men’s Shed – we made our first cup of tea using our own electricity.

It may sound small, but it means a lot.

Thanks to the recent work upgrading our power supply and getting the Shed ready for our official opening, we were finally able to boil the kettle and enjoy a proper cup of tea together – brewed right in the Shed using our own electricity for the very first time.

It was a proud moment for everyone involved, and a clear sign of just how far we’ve come.

There’s plenty more to be done, but sometimes it’s worth pausing to raise a cup and appreciate the progress – and the people – that made it all possible.
